Not Tonight

Abby, and one of her co-workers, James, have recently become good friends. They are not friends outside of work, seeing as James is twice her age they hardly travel in the same circles. But they are nevertheless more than just acquaintances. Abby and James in fact have become intimate confidants. They share with each other very personal information about themselves and their respective personal lives.

Through these conversations Abby and James have learned a great deal about each other, including some very personal things. They have learned about each others intimate likes and dislikes. Abby, who has always considered herself to be very experienced and open minded, realized after getting to know James that there is much she has never experienced.

For the most part the men that Abby knows can be put into two categories: those who want to be her boyfriend, and those who want to fuck her.

Abby is not currently looking for l ove. She previously had an on again, off again relationship for several years and has no interest at this time in any guy who wants to become her boyfriend.

Abby is similarly not interested in guys who just want to fuck her. What she has found is that guys in that situation are mostly, if not exclusively, interested in their own pleasure. She recently told James that one night stands “just want to get on, get off, and get out”.

Abby has attempted a couple of no strings attached situations to see if maybe there was a third category of guys that might work for her. The so called “no strings attached” or “friends that fuck” type relationship. However, she quickly found both times that she attempted such a relationship, the guy eventually wanted more. In a short period of time after the first encounter, the guys fell squarely into the first category â€" wannabe boyfriends.

But lately when Abby and James have shared more and more intim ate experiences and fantasies with each other, Abby has begun to think about what it would be like to be with him. She even has found herself fantasizing about sexual experiences that James has shared with her.

As a result of their conversations Abby has learned a great deal about how James must be as a lover. Apparently James is very oral and pleasing his partner is more important to him than even his own pleasure. Abby’s past lovers have mostly seemed to view oral sex as simply foreplay.

When Abby began thinking about being with James, she considered the wannabe boyfriend problem. She quickly decided that James would not want to become her boyfriend. He is twice her age and has children nearly her age. A relationship between them is something that neither of them would ever contemplate.

Additionally, Abby believes that James would simply see it for what it was, a one time, hopefully phenomenal, sexual encounter. The more that she thinks a bout it the more Abby decides that she wants it to happen. She spends several days thinking about how to raise the subject with James. Finally she decides exactly how to handle it

The following Monday morning she sends James an email which simply says, “Would you be interested in us spending the evening together tomorrow night at my place?”

James responds, “Are you suggesting what I think you are suggesting?”

“Yes, I am suggesting exactly what you think I am suggesting. I have thought of almost nothing else lately”, Abby responds.

“You have been in my dreams lately as well. I would love to spend the evening with you”, replies James.

The following day Abby and James don’t see or speak to each other much. They have very little interaction overall and what they do have seems a little awkward. Abby sends James an email that contains her address. She asks him to be at her place around 7:00 p.m.

On his way to Abby’s apartment, James stops and buys a bottle of wine. They both may need a drink to relax James says to himself and then laughs.

When Abby opens the door James can see from the expression on her face just how nervous she has become. He doesn’t say anything about her apparent nervousness. Instead James opens the wine and pours a glass for each of them.

Abby and James have a seat in her living room. They sit and chat for several minutes about work related things. James then turns to Abbey and says, “You are not ready for this, are you?”

“Yes, I am”, answers Abby before taking another gulp of wine.

James simply smiles and doesn’t respond.

A couple of minutes later James excuses himself and goes through Abby’s bedroom into her bathroom. Abby hears water running. Not sink water, but instead tub water. A few minutes later James returns and picks up their wine glasses. “Come with me”, James sa ys to Abby.

When they enter the bedroom James closes the door behind them. The room is only lit by flickering light that is coming from the adjoining bathroom. James leads Abby into the bathroom and sets their wine glasses down on the edge of the tub. Abby looks over at the tub and sees that it is filled with bubble bath. She also sees that James has lit the candles on the back edge of the tub.

James steps up to Abby and smiles. She seems to relax a little as she returns his smile. James then reaches out and slowly begins unbuttoning Abby’s blouse. After unbuttoning it completely he slides it over her shoulders and down her arms. The whole time that he is removing her blouse, James stares directly into Abby’s eyes.

James continues to stare intently into Abby’s eyes as he reaches around behind her and unfastens her bra. He then slowly slides it over her shoulders and arms. James drops it to the floor with her blouse. All the while James continues to stare into Abby’s eyes. She smiles knowing how badly he must want to look at her now fully exposed breasts.

As Abby continues to smile at James she steps out of her heels and reaches around behind herself and unzips her skirt. She pulls her skirt and her panties down and let them drop to the floor. As she does so she continues to meet James’ gaze.

The now totally naked Abby steps forward and begins unbuttoning James’ shirt. After unbuttoning it fully, she reaches up and moves his shirt over his shoulders and lets it drop down to the floor behind him.

James slips off his shoes right before Abby reaches out and begins unfastening his belt and pants. After unzipping his pants Abby lowers herself to her knees directly in front of James. She then slowly pulls down James’ pants and underwear. Abby removes James’ pants and underwear and then slips off his socks. The whole time that she has been on her knees Abby, like James ha d previously, maintains eye contact and never once glances at his now naked body.

Abby reaches her left hand up and James takes it and helps her stand up. James and Abby then turn toward the tub. James continues to hold her hand as Abby steps into the tub first and sits down with her feet beneath the faucet. She leaves room behind her for James. He then sits down behind Abby placing one leg on each side of her.

Abby relaxes and leans back against James’ chest. He places his hands gently on her shoulders. Then James hands Abby her glass of wine and takes his glass as well. James slides his left hand down Abby’s left arm and they intertwine fingers and sit quietly enjoying the relaxing warm bath.

Several minutes later, as she continues to lean back against James' chest, Abby whispers, “We aren’t going to make love, are we?”

James responds, also in a whisper, “Not tonight.”
